Meet Your Therapist

Monique Parr, LCMHCS
Founder & Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor
Welcome. My name is Monique Parr, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the founder of Kaleidoscope Cares Therapeutic Services, PLLC. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Fayetteville State University in 2004, and my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2014.
With over 20 years of experience, I have supported individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—through a wide range of emotional challenges and life transitions. My clinical work includes addressing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, identity exploration, prenatal and mood-related disorders, as well as more persistent mental health conditions within my scope of practice.
My approach to therapy is authentic, compassionate, and individualized. I believe healing begins when people feel seen, understood, and supported within a safe therapeutic relationship. Therapy with me is structured yet flexible, allowing space to explore emotional patterns, develop insight, and build practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
As a lifelong learner and practitioner, I consider it an honor to walk alongside individuals during significant moments in their lives. Seeking support reflects strength, self-awareness, and willingness to engage in growth. If you are here in this moment, it may be time to explore the patterns shaping your experience and begin a process of healing with care and intention.
Your patterns can transform into healing.
